Offline | South Coast New MINI/Oxford MINI joint Christmas Meal (thread closed) Thread closed as we still do not have a date or venue for this event, a new thread will be posted in the "Confirmed Events" forum once the event has been re-organised with confirmed details. DK :apple: on behalf of SCNM and OMC on 11 Sep 2005This is thread to gain interest and signups for all those that would be interested in a joint club christmas meal, MINI run and get together. Myself and Harpo are the organisers. After the succesfully organised event last year from Trainman (neil) at Arundel. Its time to move the Xmas run and meal slightly further north. initial ideas have been considered for locations. I would be interested to hear what dates you would like to do. If u would prefer a formal / informal dinner, @ pub or @fancy restaurant. last year we had the event first weekend in December, we are starting to think of a similar date. if overnight accomodation is required, guestimate of pricing and preferred type of accomodation, last year we did B&B in a few local pubs... Saturday midday start followed by short afternoon run, get to venue for about 4pm,arrive at overnight accomodation, time to shower and change. Meal early evening, followed by drinking etc afterwards... Please sign up on thread. Max please add to SCNM main thead to avoid this dissapearing into the void.... those interested.

Offline | Slow down, moi???!!! ![]() The old goat's birthday is a week day, it does not really matter which weekend we have the Xmas meal IMHO - either the first (Sat 03 Dec) or the second (Sat 10 Dec) should be fine ![]() DK :apple: |

Offline | go with the flow u know... as long as we keep the booze flowing... DK. the mill sounds like a good venue, but the one that we have in mind is much more centrally located and equally distanced for most folks.. post more when we have an updated plan. |
