The Ridgeway Meet '05 - September 11th 2005 Post Event Pics & Chit Chat

It's back - due to popular demand. Well, more like constant nagging, from those who went on last years run.

This year we'll have a look at those wonderful views at harvest time.

The Ridgeway is Britains oldest road, and we will be criss-crossing it throughout the run, enjoying vast panoramas and perfect roads for our favourite mode of transport.

It will be a full day run, starting at Chieveley Services on the M4 at j13.
Be sure to meet in the lorry park area to the left, where we will be able to keep together and complete a smooth departure.
Meet and greet from 10.00, departing promptly at 10.30 and returning at approx 16.00, with a stop for a pub lunch at the Crown & Ball Hotel in Marlborough High Street for about 1.5 hours.

Be sure to download, print and read the 'Ridgeway Meet '05 - Turn by Turn' document that I have uploaded - it contains a wealth of useful information. Note where the regroup stops are located should you become detached. And don't forget to bring a decent map/atlas and two way radios.

Really sorry Harpo but I can nolonger make this run. My Dad had just given me some tickets to go see the Renault World Series at Donnington on September 10/11th.

Last year we stopped off at The Red Lion in Avebury, but this year I'll have a look at the pubs in Marlborough before making a final decision. Slurp, hic.
