MMM August Run (14th August - Sunday)

To tie up with Morty (Belgium Mini Maniac) we are having a little (60 odd mile) run through the Oxford Countryside.

Expect:
1) Lots of pretty villages
2) Lots of bumpy country lanes
3) Some spirited driving
4) about 17 miles to the gallon#
5) A very nice pub lunch
6) Great Fun

Start point is Cherwell Services Junction 10 M40
Time is 10:30 am

Run will last about two hours (with a stop in the middle to try and count the world famous Rollright Stones) check out these ancient bad boys

End point is at the Stags Head in Swalcliffe - very good food and ale. If you want lunch let me know as we need to book a table.

Sprinters:
1. S & M (2) lunch
2. Maxim (1) lunch
3. Max & Dora (2) lunch
4. Morty (possibly for lunch)
5. Ginger (lunch - unsure as yet)
6. ButtonIt (lunch?)
7. Karl and Josefina (2) lunch
8. Poppet and Janie (2) lunch

Well Mr Maxim, we should discuss that then

If I can get there, then please add me to the list
+ lunch

I'm staying in Cannock on Saturday night. So I'll have to arrange some transport from there towards the meeting place or Birmingham where Maxim could pick me up.

Or if they're other volunteers .. I'll be glad to hear

Steve,

I do beleive you have just organized the first ever MMM Int'al meet

Of course, for our foreign visitors I am sure in addition to writing the very comprehensive run notes and route guide you will be issuing simulataneous translations into their native languages and distances just to show them how organized we are

I beleive there was an Aussie visitor coming into Manchester which Hickster may be able to bring down for some Mini-action

Me? I will be out of the country (yahh booo sucks - throw rocks at the heretic etc etc)

oh no - you do know that we will be going in mph - which of course is obviously the quicker of the two standard measurements of speed

I'm more worried about distance and the steering-wheel being on the wrong side

Come on Karl, I am sure you are an expert in driving on the wrong side

Don't forget your PMR446 Radio - you'll definitely need it for this
