 Mini "Drive in Movie" Event ? Si5bellies Johnboyo TOMCOOPS Hershekiss Looking at the possibility of doing a Mini "Drive in Movie" event at Castle Howard North Yorkshire. 20 miles NE of York Event to be orgainzed by Me (Simon) & group of 5 dealerships in the northeast. Possible dates are late October this year or April / May 2006. Just in the planning stages at the moment so I have no confirmed price on tickets but will keep you posted. Looking to do a full day of events leading up to the Movie inc. ride out ect... The maximum will be 150 cars so tickets would be on register of interest first and then on first come first serve basis. The Movie would be shown on a special giant screen and the audio would be transmitted by FM frequency to your car. So what I need from you is..... 1. Register your interest to this email address simon@hudsonsofyork.com please make sure you put "Mini" in the subject line. 2. In the email please give me a list of 5 movies you think we should show. The movie with the most requests wins - easy as that. Please note registering your interest does not comitt you in any way at this time it just means I can then add you to a list which I will post on the forum and update weekly. | Update Had a meeting with the other parties invloved (Dealerships). Realisticly its going to be April / May 2006. Also it seems that Croft would be a better venue and more central for traveling to. Plus we can also organise more events around the "Drive in" as well. As I have more info I will post it on this thread. Simon |
