I'll be there representing the west coast with a large entourage in Tow. I think there are 2-3 of us leaving from Portland Oregon and aquiring a several minis in every city we're staying in. There were 200 minis last year with 400 people - they fully expect it to get bigger this year. It was freaking AWESOME. And my cabin is way maxed out already. People are gonna have to start sleeping in the bathtub and on the kitchen table!

Good thing it's not during hurricane season. ![]() Most of the people stay either at the Fontana Lodge or the Microtel in Robbinsville. Fuzzy and I are a bit off the path, but I like that the Hampton Inn rooms include broadband Internet access.

[quote=Batgirl555] There were 200 minis last year with 400 people - they fully expect it to get bigger this year. I'm almost sure there were close to 370 cars last year. The first year there were about 73 cars. Year two had about 150 cars. It has doubled in size each year. Hopefully it won't get much larger than last year. I plan on being there again this year. Don

I now have reservations at the Microtel and a clear ship's sked.... whoo hoo! I'm going.... Here's to hoping I don't jinx the weather.... (nah, Mother Nature can't make it rain for a week, can she? {Seattle - 27 days and counting with rain....}) You can have my MINI when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I'm planning to go again too- I reserved a cabin at checkout last year at Fontana. I did like staying in the middle of all the action, but a lack of internet access is still a bummer to me. It looks as if I'll be bringing my 05 tintop and waiting at least for an early 07 cabrio. I like getting early production MY cars anyway because they hold value longer. Plus I got a really shabby trade in offer from CF I wish they'd get a more effective trade-in arrangement. And anyway, if I had a fresh MCSC I'd be stuck at the pulley parties and such again getting mods. More Dragon time and hopefully more really good killboy pics! Ahh the smell of burning rubber in the springtime

MOTD 2006 Questions Hello All!!! Had a great time at Mini Meet East last year (Dublin) and am planning on attending MOTD 2006. Is there an "official" MOTD site where you register and/or that supplies additional itinerary or other information? Thanks!!! |

You'll find most of your information on NAM. Not much has been scheduled yet. There are threads going on in this forum: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...play.php?f=141 Glad you can make it!
