thanks for posting the pictures. i'll post mine once i develop my film (sorry, no digital camera).

maybe we can setup a "regular" old sacramento meeting for norcal/sacramento minis. something very informal, brief, and just a chance to see all our area minis as the population grows.
like the first saturday of each month, 11:00am? just an idea. i live in downtown sacramento, and won't always be able to make it, but it could be a standing date.

That'd be cool. As you said I might not be able to make it every month, but since I live right across the river most times I'd be available. In fact there's a great breakfast place just the west side of the Tower Bridge if you're up for slumming it on the wrong side of the river.

Hey...I recognize some of you from the Niello thread! I'd like to join the get-together sometime, but I won't be getting my S for another couple weeks. Won't be picking up at Niello of course! Going to SLC and driving back.
What restaurant are you meeting at?

The original suggestion was to meet in Old Sac I believe which is cool with me. Don't know which restaurant though. "Fat City" is pretty good.
A couple of other suggestions...
"The Streets Of London" on J St., a British style pub with pretty good food (not sure when they open though).
"A Touch Of Britain" on Watt out by McCellan. It is sort of tea room and British grocery store. Good fish and chips.
"Carrol's." Good diner style breakfast just across the river from Old Sac on West Capitol in W. Sac.
