We will meet at Sterling MINI at 9:30 - departure no later than 10:00. The driving details will be provided upon arrival

We will meet on the street before you turn into the dealership as to not cause a traffic jam in their parking lot.

It's a 75 mile tour - making a quick breakfast stop at the "British Pantry" for some really yummy English goodies...then off to see some beautiful countryside. We will end the drive at the Old Dominion Brewery in Ashburn - which is down the street from Sterling MINI. They
have quite a variety of goodies

And we have our own private area to enjoy our lunch in. We'll have a few giveaways too!

Included in the driving packet will be a waiver for all to sign, and a menu for lunch so you can take a peak before we get there...

Just a reminder - don't forget the radios so we can keep track of everybody along the route!!! And make sure you let us know you are coming so we don't forget anybody when we start off......

I really want to do the drive with you guys since i haven't done any of the previous ones, but i cant!! I have to get stupid voulenteer hours this weekend for my high school... Which makes me wonder, how old are most of you guys that i keep hearing from in the Yahoo groups and such? I think i remember hearing about another kid my age from South Lakes HS, but i could be imagining things!

I'm pretty bummed about having missed the past few events, and probably missing the next few!! It's just that with school and work and everything i'm just insanely buisy until about January 1st or so (college applications' due date!). After that though, i look forward to finally being able to join you guys on one of your rides!

Grinder, ages vary in the Yahoo group, but most are mature. I can't think of anyone in high school, and very few in their early twenties. But that's ok, none of us act our age.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We are obviously still working our way around this site. We figured it was time to branch out a bit

So I guess most everybody spends their time in the General Discussion forum? And I still need to figure out how to do our profile and all that stuff.

Welcome aboard. Wish I could go to but as you know im Miniless for now plus I do have to work both the night before and during the event. But ill be back soon Terrorizing the roads once again. Hmm maybe this time it will be with an MCST. Or maybe I can make one of those wrap around rubber bumpers with a long whip antenna and have a Mini bumpercar.

Whoohoo. Mike and Donna on the big board. Welcome folks. Explore around and you'll find all kinds of stuff here. Some that may be interesting to you goes back a year to when the MINI was first introduced in Europe and we got all our info from those guys on the other side of the pond.

Despite what my dear wife says, I doubt we will even be able to make the lunch on the 9th

It is not realistic to think we can go into to DC, get done what we need to get done, and then be somewhere in time for lunch. We will miss you all greatly.

Grinder there is someone...he graduated in '92 though. Is there someone else? The person I'm talking about lives in Richmond, did you join and check out the Yahoo site I mentioned to you?
