| Now With More Cowbell | Just a thought that occured to me tonight: Seeing as it's winter, how about a car wash meet. I know there's a great one near by me at Mavis & Dundas in Mississauga (I'm sure there are others that offer a dozen+ wash bays and hose pressures that would blow a ten year off his/her feet, but this one is pretty good...) Just an informal thing. Get together, spray the salt and grime off the cars, then off to the nearby Krispy Kreme to fatten ourselves according to whim and conscience. ![]() -CW Global Moderator |

Offline | The family is fine now. Only my parents have seen it. My mom loves it and my dad is too embarrased to sit in it because he thinks it looks stupid. haha. Car was meet sounds good. I don't think I will be giving it a good proper washing all the way to the spring. Mostly just getting all the grime off. Holy Monkey! Indy Blue Cooper / White roof, wheels / Sport Package / Sunroof |

| Now With More Cowbell | Trust me, it is fun. Very efficient too, since $3.00 gets your four minutes of wash time; enough to get my MCS surprisingly clean. And unless you shop up on a sunny Saturday afternoon in July, there's rarely any sitting, waiting, idling your car. And the water pressure! Gott in Himmel, I was impressed. -CW Global Moderator |

Offline | Thegrommit, If you need a good car wash take it Dennys on Mavis Rd near Dundas, just fantastic. The only complaint that I have is that they forget to vacuum the truck area. Charles. BRG/W MCS |

Offline | Thanks for the tips! Looks like finedetails has one within the 416 area Getting back on topic ![]() I got a pamphlet from Budds (Oakville Mini) mentioning the idea of a "MINI party". A nice warm dealership could be a good starting point for a gathering. ![]() |

Offline | They don't specify. I suspect they're putting out feelers to see what level of interest there is. I doubt that they would turn down any owner who has the potential for service revenue ![]() |

Offline | I bought at Budds and got the same notice - I didn't read it real carefully but I kind of got the impression it was a sales event but maybe I'm wrong. i have to drop by in the next few days to pick up mud flaps so i will try to find out more. The BMW club meets at dealerships so maybe Budds would be interested in championing something aka KWKSLVR Member: Southern Ontario MINI Club BMW Club of Canada - Trillium Chapter |
