Boston area MINI meet 11/16

Event: Informal Boston area MINI gathering
Date: Saturday, 11/16 -this Saturday!
Time: 10:00 am through lunch
Meeting place: MINI Peabody (www.minipeabody.com), Peabody, MA

What's happening: Join us for a "drive and dine" gathering of Boston-area MINI owners (future owners are welcome too! So if your new Baby is still on order you can still join in the fun).

MINI Peabody has graciously offered to have us gather on their premises to kick off the drive. So this allows us to meet each other, check out the cars and even poke around the showroom or parts/accessories counter. Some time between 10:30 am - 11:00 am, we'll head out on a yet to be determined route. We'll have some fun motoring on some nice scenic roads and end up in Essex, MA at the Red Barrel Pub for lunch. We understand they have a vintage Mini on display there, so it seems quite fitting. Bring the whole family and don't forget a camera.

PS: Don't know about lunch at the Red Barrel - I live nearby and have been a few times; but never actually eaten there ... either poor service, or lack of choice!

There is always Woodmans just down the road - lots more parking there too!

I'll be there if the weather is good. Don't think it'll be "fun" hanging around Peabody's parking lot in the rain so I'll bail if it's raining.

We're still planning to meet even though the forecast is saying there will be a Nor'easter hitting us this weekend. There's at least 6 hardy souls who'll be there.

Meet at Peabody Mini at 10 and we'll decide from there if we want to follow the route Carl has planned, do something different or just sit in the dealership drinking coffee...!
