We plan to be there too. We hope this big rainstorm on Saturday, forecast to continue through Sunday morning, doesn't mess us up. But don't let it stop anybody--just don't drive through any deep puddles

Yeah, My MINI and I went out driving Saturday,to get him all inspected and legal. To get the free sticker, I had to drive for an hour and a half each way. As if I minded so much! But that, combines with a late night Saturday, led to my descision that we should stay home.

So how was it?

It was fun. We drove through a wildlife refuge and saw swimming deer, and birds and stuff. Then we had breakfast/lunch.
Oh, and there were HUGE geese wandering around scaring me.
Gmini it was lovely meeting you and your friend.

Sherry, I had killer belgian waffles with berries and cream.. And little cakes. "I have to take you to this place sometime it was yummy."

Yes, it was fun for us too--our first such venture, and it won't be our last! Even more fun than we had anticipated.

There were 10 "new" and 3 "classic" Minis on the trip around the NJ Pine Barrens.

We especially enjoyed seeing the long line of Minis in front of us scoot around sharp corners, looking like toy cars. 77 miles of zooming along.

It was an "Expotition" à la Winnie the Pooh. We had a Roo, a Piglet, an Eeyore, a Rabbit, and a Pooh, following behind Christopher Robin--but I'm not telling who was who!

Pasadena road was windy, and was the best for cornering.

Good to meet everyone, including GMini, RedPanda, Susan and Jonathan, and Julian and his dad. The lunch get-together was an excellent finale.

The horrendous rain ended before we began; it was fine mostly. Mini luck.

Many thanks to Debbie, Rich, Larry, and others who organized this for us all.

I am so tired (3 hour sat night) but you guys--- I never want to miss another meet within a 4 hour radius. 5. We are all going to see each other again and again I think. I hope. Julian has already posted on nycmmg's site (above) a picture of the lineup.

I got tons like it as well as some smashing lotechZ! Actually very pleased with Dov's novice automotive photographs. They'll be live as soon as he gets his server back up.

Cheers RP!!! Great meeting you and your man. A highlight. Likewise you and your lady, shep. Your scrapbooks were monumental!

Another highlight was larry's collection. My god - a Mini museum!! Be sure not to miss it next time. REALLY!!! An our more behind that little red mini, running super low on petrol, and i swear, it is amn AWESOME SIGHT that barn of his. MINI/mini heritage. Right there. Julian would vouch.

Lets keep an eye on this board
and for goodness sake
NEVER LET THE WEATHER TALK YOU OUT OF GOING!!!!

Alsome People, the best cars (MINIS OF COURSE), poor weather, hey not everything is perfect.

About the car collection,

..........., That is my coment nothing else to say. everything from a to z in clasic mini.
