I can't make the trip to Euro 2002 (sounds like fun) but might be interested in a day trip to VIR.

Anyone care to get together before October 19th? Maybe right here in the Triangle?

I live in Charlotte and I am going to Eurofest in October. I would be glad to meet MINIs from RTP for an outing. I have posted on minicooperonline.com under Southeast,looking for MINIs in Charlotte.

I know MiniShuttle, MINIMENC, MiniTiger (all anticipating MINIs in October), chiph, Boltz, Markie and kevina.

I had made a couple notes on this a few months back. The additional names I have are volsfan, yuriant, spindoc, and drgolf. May not be totally correct. From the raodfly board I have MINI-ster and smokey4.

This might be a start for a MINICCA

Anyone interested in meeting for dinner somewhere?

If so, I'd like to suggest Firebird's at Streets of Southpoint mall, like on a Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid the crowds. They serve steaks, seafood, wood-fire pizzas, and other dishes (think they have a couple of vegetarian meals too). Prices are in the $20 range.

Ahh, a plan. Tuesday works better for me, but I could swing Wednesday. I've never been to Firebird's, but it sounds good and I can stop by the Apple Store.

That's right! I may be in the land of tobacco and confederate flags, but I still make that drive around the beltline every day.

I going to have trouble making evening meetings; kid duties at home. If anyone has an idea for a drive on a weekend, I would be for it (and my kids would love it).
