Offline | Damn it Aimee if you wanted to make me more disappointed in not being able to go on the trip. Well you did that in spades!! Love the pics. I think I wouldnt have done half bad if I entered the Car show. Take it yours is the DS/b with the black strips trim in white. Nice car. Im wondering if anyone while they were there took advantage and had the Cold Start software updated in there cars. By the way the have the update disc at the Crown Mini now and I will be getting mine done on Oct 29th. The sooner I can get the dates for Eurofest 2003 the sooner I can try and get the time off. By then I might be one of those 240+hp minis =) 02 MCS DS/W (Totaled November 02 on Fall Folage Run) 03 MCS DS/W (See my MINI Profie for extensive list of mods) |

Offline | We have made our trip to the Euro Auto Festival a two-week motoring experience. The event was one continuous adrenaline rush. Boy have I got stories to tell! Now we're in the NC mountains with family here. We drove half the route of the Mini Mountain Hop over again. My hubby is getting quite confident on those difficult twisties and I still throw my hands in the air when we hit a curve or downhill slope. We took a skeptical BMW owner to the top of Cold Mountain (5000ft+) and tested Super Cooper on the steep grades. He passed with flying colors. The ride exceeded her expectations (and mine even from the backseat). Tomorrow we do it without her and go for it. (BTW What a difference 5 days make! The leaves are magnificent!) We've met so many friendly and fun people this weekend from 6 states! Thanks so much for the hospitality to those of you who made us feel at home by going an extra mile. The MINI Cooper attracts a very special kind of people. We can't wait to meet more of you. We're already booked for 2003! Happy Motoring . . . Sharon . . . Super Cooper . . . Miami |

Offline | Mountain Hop Drivers Hey gang, Had a great time at the Euro fest. It was nice to meet all the Mini owners and see their cars. Plus you couldn't ask for better weather for driving the Hop. What I need from the hoppers are your names and a pic of your car. I am in the process of making a little movie to send to you all. So at least send in your name for the credits. Thanks |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | dpilgrim, I'm Sherry, the hubby is Jim, we drive the silk green Cooper, photo attached. MrsCooper and Marco, it was great to meet you both. You deserved first place in the show, your super Cooper and presentation were the best! presurized MINI, if you want to coordinate meets then do it! It's better to have someone doing it part time who loves the job than to have someone who really doesn't care that is available all the time. Time to start a MiniMeet East thread... ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | dpilgrim, I'll get a you what you need when I get back to Miami. I took tons of pictures of everyone's MINIs on the Hop. Half came out in a blur due to the speed and unpredictable turns. I only got one picture of from the front! I was getting woosy, going backwards on a real life rollercoaster. The rest of the shots are everyone else from the rear or side. But a MINI is beautiful from any angle especially when at home in the mountains. All the colors were a sight to behold (cars and leaves). Hey spindoc, thanks for a terrific time! Those who didn't hang on for Chandler Mtn missed out. I tried to catch your picture but I think you put rocket fuel in that baby. PrinceCaspian and my hubby couldn't keep up with you if their lives depended on it (and they did)! Hubby and I are still here!! near Brevard. Today we celebrated Super Cooper reaching 7000 miles at 5000 feet! We did Cesears Head yesterday afternoon and it was super spooky because the fog was thick. And today we stopped by OP Taylors, the toy shop you pointed out on the way to the Pisgah. Did you know the owner has owned 12 minis over his life? I wanted to get the remote control mini but he was sold out. Prince Caspian had made a great suggestion to go to the top of Paris Mtn - we really enjoyed that! Look what I got! Check out the great action photos of the Hop! Thanks Aimee!Kevin's Mtn Hop & Euro 2002 Last edited by MrsCooper : Oct 24th, 2002 at 03:02 AM. |

| VIdeo Game Master | I figured I should go ahead and post my pics of the event too. The best part was being able to race the MINIs and it was funny it was almost like pulling teeth to try and get somebody to drive the Z3's. http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/album82 |
