Hi! from the AtlantaMINIS, We just wanted to give everyone an update on the planning for the 2005 Farewell Dinner. We have really enjoyed hosting the Welcome Dinner the past two years, and we are happy to help start a new tradition. We have reserved the same beautiful outdoor location at Tapoco, and are currently putting the finishing touches on the last details. I will be posting all the juicy details soon. At the moment, plans are to do everything in the same manner that we did last year, with the price of the dinner including only what Tapoco charges us plus Paypal's small fee. Anyone that wishes to avoid the PayPal fee is free to mail us a check, but we'll post all of that information at the same time. Absolutely everyone is welcome to swing by even if you can't have dinner with us, we will be having slot car races, lots of door prizes, and Phil Wicks, the stunt driver of the original Italian Job, has requested time to give a presentation on his Driving Academy, plus he will be giving away a gift certificate good for one of his courses anywhere in the country. Last year we gave away over $700 in door prizes, and we are hard at work securing even more this year! We are hoping to once again have a band and therefore a speaker system for anyone that wishes to hand out prizes from previous activities.
