| Just bought first Mini! R50 Cooper in British Racing Green
Hi all!
Just bought my first Mini yesterday, so wasting no time in getting involved with the community!
I've picked up one of the very first 2001 R50 Coopers in British Racing Green. Black roof, 5 spoke wheels. No packs, but it's got the panaromic roof which I really like and the car is in incredible condition for it's age - absolutely spotless.
I've got a couple of little jobs to do already - the third brake light is out but the others work so I'm assuming this is the light itself and not a fuse. One of the bulbs is gone in the heater control unit too but research is showing that it's quite a tricky one to get stuck in to!
A quick newbie question for you all - the car doesn't have powerfold mirrors. Should they fold manually or was even manually folding ones an option? I tentatively tried to fold them in but I didn't want to push them too hard before I confirmed that they should indeed fold!
