I just joined today and still learning how to navigate the site. I am having Mini withdrawl symptoms and have wanted one for many many years. Unfortunately, as a family man, no models to date were approved until the Countryman came along. The wife has given me the OK but I have much research to do. I've already spent hours and hours on this site researching and I am concerned about Mini's quality in general and more specifically to the newer model Countryman. I HATE how us Canucks get slim pickings on the custom order sheet because I cant order what I want (i.e. white 18" turbo alloys, interior door colours, spoiler, and the list goes on ...). I think I will wait until the 2013's come out and see if there are more options available. My only other beef is that I prefer the look of the base but could not live without the power from the S. I do not think the S shows enough respect to the Mini's lineage esoecially the poor grill design and rear bumper indents.
Anyways, great to be here. Much work to do. No picture to show expect my baby I lost in 2003 when I left the UK.
