Hi all ! Just got myself a mini cooper s in electric blue !
Done a bit of reading up and lurking on here for the last month or two and only two weeks ago i picked her up.
After being a person who loved the original beetle, but hated the new shape and hated the original mini but liked the chunkier.. i decided to change sides !

Re-built a 1972 beetle, owned imprezza's, punto's hgt's,mx5's etc.. the mini is a cracking nippy car ! Deffo no slouch !!!

A bit of heavy cleaning on the wheels to get rid of the staining on each wheel....30mins each wheel !!!
A bit more needed and it should be right..
Fixed a few issues already with it, like dodgy switches and a missing a-trim panel,missing Ariel etc...
Then i decided the aero grill looked really nice, so decided to get it
and some spots as well
Just need some decent weather to wire them in tidy...
White stripes will be added this month i hope, along with my mats when i get them
Its been lowered all round with coilovers which i need to raise slightly as its really nasty with the bad roads over here and i think its causing a fault with the
dsc (had it checked and came back with faults with some sensors, which might tie in with it being too low)
Its also got a stainless steel one box system instead of the two silencers....nice note !
In the car there was also a reduced pulley for the supercharger and shorter belt, i'll have to upload a pic if some one can tell me what % pulley it is and what gains i'll get on it, before fitting....
Also im a bit of a biker....just spent too much rebuilding my ducati 916 in corse colours.... hopefully in the next year or so i'll be chucking a 1198 engine in to it...
