New Mini owner, daytime running lights question

I have just bought an 07 Mini Cooper, red with a white roof and white mirror caps, complete with a pepper pack.

Absolutely love the car, this is my second mini, the first was a lovely well loaded brown clubman cooper D, this car had the option of activating the drl's

I have been through the settings on my new car and cannot find the option to activate them, is this because it is an 07 and older software?

Don't have a clue, all the other personal settings on there for locking, indicators etc.

I love your forum, i have looked previously whilst I was researching and it helped me alot.

Can any one help me, is this a software update or is it because the car is the first of the second generation.

Any help would be appreciated

May not have them. I know that new mini stuff sell them for the second gen

They are on the latest MINI but all it is is a setting for the dip beam headlights to come on when the ignition is on, they arent LED or anything fancy like on the Audi or whatever, in fact my dealer turned the program off on mine before delivery saying you dont need those things on here.
