We purchased our 2002 Laser Blue/White Cooper S two weeks ago (for the wifey). It only has 39,500 miles on it! The previous owner had it garaged and covered pretty much since new. We LOVE this car! Sure it rides pretty sport-like on the 17's, but isn't that part of the MINI experience?
It had the "Inspection II" done at 26,500, back in 2008. It also had the rear brakes replaced around the same time. I have an appt. next Saturday for an oil change (I will NOT be going 15,000 per change). I'm sure some of you have some suggestions on what additional services I should have performed when its at the dealer. I live about 45 minutes from the nearest dealership, so I'd like to get service done all at once. The service rep suggested brake fluid flush. I've never done that on a vehicle. Should I have it done on the MINI? What else would you consider if you were me?
Thanks for the welcome everyone!
