I joined this forum YEARS ago - as a long long time classic mini owner I bought my first new mini in 2006 (in IRL) (a 2003 black R53 Cooper S). I sold it when I bought my first house and since then have moved across the world to New Zealand.
Looking for a while I have finally picked up a nice example R53 to get back in the mini game! I thought I would show you some pics!
Living in NZ now does not make life easy so if anybody could point me in the rght direction of where to buy parts/accessories please do. Couple of things I am looking at right now -
15% pulley reduction (thinking the ALTA V2, any reason why not?)
Induction -
JCW airbox (can't find any) or a Dave.F (again where do I buy?)
Aux connection for standard stereo
Beltline blank kit
Black matte grill (perhaps aero kit).
Gearknob insert (old one is ruined).
Blank key - non central locking.
If anybody has any advice on any of the above (particularly best places to buy) im all ears!
