Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a 57 plate cooper s, it has a few jcw extras, alloys, aero kit etc. Having had impreza sti's and an evo 7 extreme when i was younger i must admit i was really impressed with how quick the mini is off the mark, the handling feels better than the clio cups that i had also.

Couple of quick questions though.

Having looked at other cooper s exhausts the b/box and pipes look larger on my car than others ive seen and it also pops n bangs on the down shift, however it is not a loud exhaust is this possibly part of a jcw upgrade?

I have had a few teething problems with the car.
1 the xenons are not steady constantly wavering(not flickering)just cant stabilise, this is an intermittent fault
2 Rear fog lamp warning light is constantly on but the rear fogs both work?
3 When cold it struggled to idle and then felt like it was on 3 cylinders, i have since cleaned ht leads etc and this seems to have solved the problem

Spares:
Can you guys recommend any sites to get a spare key fob as mini dealer wanted £180 plus vat to supply and code, also need a new front wheel 18 inch as the current one has a weld.

Sorry if ive posted a lot of this in the wrong section.

Cheers

David
