Hello from Warrington

Hi there! I am shortly (hopefully) going to be selling my fiance's 2010 mx5 miyako and replace it with either an r56 jcw or mcs. We get very little use from the Mazda even though it's lots of fun we always end up bringing people with us on journeys and have been hankering for a mini again since I sold my last r53 cooper (I had one previously aswell) in 2006. Any buying advice would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum, i would say if you are using it for everyday and want to save fuel then go with an mcs or if you fancy something that can behave like a normal mini when you want it too then take it on a few track days then go for the jcw thats what i did ;-)

Too late deposit placed

Went for a test drive yesterday and haliwell jones in warrington very "kindly" showed me a pic of a car they have in chester! I loved the test drive so much that I put a deposit down there and then and am hopefully soon to be the proud owner of a MCS on a 60 plate with chilli pack and full jcw aero kit as well as gear nob and alcantara steering wheel. It's dark grey and I'm getting the roof painted black and full sports stripes all the way down and then maybe 2 spot lamps... Should be a very merry Christmas indeed!!! My fiancé will be using my Merc c class coupe for the foreseeable!!! now I need to know what I can get away with tuning wise without affecting the warranty?

Welcome back to the MINI fold!
Have a look at MerseyMINIclub, they have meets near you and plenty of ways to help you spend your mods money.
