Hello Everyone,
My name is Shawn and I had a 2013 MINI COOPER S HARDTOP built for my wife as a Christmas (2012) present. When I first went on the MINI website just to do research it stated that there were over 10 million variations that could be my MINI. I thought that was a bit stretched to say the least. When I went to the dealer to actual start the build on this I very quickly found out that statement was very true. After about 2 months of customising the MINI it finally hit the production line just in time for the December 2012 production. Her car was finally delivered on the 25 of Jan. We had a heck of a time with a certain process. As an American living in Germany, I did not have to pay the German 19% sales tax. That is the paperwork that made the huge hold up. We are very happy with our dealer and especially the car. A MINI is so coplex when building yourself that it taught the dealer and myself many things about the car. There needs to be a "MINI dealer college"

.
I am looking to talk with other MINI owners and learn even more about these awesome machines. Also looking for possible ideas and sites that I can get custom parts and possibly embroidery done.
