My name is Nick, I'm from Chicago.
My wife and I are looking to buy a Mini Cooper Hard Top A/T.
To fall in our budget we're looking for something from '08 or '09 with around 40K miles. We test drove one today at a local dealer and we both fell in love with the way it drives, looks and handles.
One thing we want it to be equipped with is Cold Weather Package (Heated Front Seats, Heated Mirrors, Heated Power Folding Mirrors, and Heated Washer Jets). Some noon-Mini dealers don't know if the car is equipped with this Cold Weather Package or just with the heated seats option alone.
My question here is how do I recognize if a Mini Cooper is equipped with it since the Heated Mirrors and Heated Washer Jets are automatic and don't have a control to look for?
Any help is apreciated
Thank you
PS: Even if this Mini will mostly be My wife's DD, I can't wait for it's arrival in the family
That does make sense.
So I'm assuming if it'll have Heated Washer Jets it will also be equipped with Heated Mirrors.
Thanks Johnny. That was helpful.
Can't wait to check out a couple other cars and make a decision.
Any specific issues I should be aware or should be checking when buying a '08, '09 US model Mini Cooper A/T?
Thank You all for your help.
We finally made the step and got the car.
It's a 2008 Red Mini Cooper A/T, 35,100 Miles.
It's pretty loaded (Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Automatic Trans, Center armrest, Multi-function steering wheel, go fast stripes on hood etc.) and with some custom extras on top like: leather trimmed sheepskin vests ($400) & custom Mini carpet mats.
It's in showroom condition. Can't wait to pick it up Friday. Will post pics soon after.

I have a Stage 2 Subaru WRX with upgraded suspension but the MINI has a special feel to it that I enjoy driving it as often as I get my hands on it.
I Love that little car.
