I have the a 2001 cooper, had it about a moth and a half now. It seems as though there must be some sort of electrical fault, as the dash is telling me that my boot is open when it's fully shut? This causes the interior light to stay on when I get in the car and shut the door, instead of turning off when the door is shut?
Thankfully the car is still under warranty from the garage I bought it from, but I would like to know what is causing this, is it a common fault or something?
