Would love to rent a mini for a wedding

My son is getting married on April 6th and they are going to London for their honeymoon. I thought I would try to find someone in the Birmingham Alabama area that would be kind enough to allow us to rent their Mini Cooper for the afternoon. It would be the perfect way for my son and his new bride to leave the wedding. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas that might help me. I have checked all of the rental car companies and none have Minis to rent. Any help would be appreciated.

Why not try your local Mini dealership (assuming there's one nearby). They might be up for loaning you a car for 24hours as an extended test drive (plus it being a wedding it's a nice bit of local PR).

We have a dealership here in Birmingham, but since we need this for a wedding, it might be hard to try to set up a "test drive" so far ahead of the date and be sure it will work ahead of time.

I will go by there and give it a try. If there is anyone out there that would let us rent their mini for a few hours, we live in a good area and the wedding is at our home. As I said the bride and groom would be using the car for pictures and to leave the reception and drive 1/2 mile to where their car would be parked.

If there is an owner out there that would be willing to make this the PERFECT wedding day, I would love to hear from you. Or if someone knows a person at the dealership that I might talk to, that would be great.

I have always loved the little minis and hope to be able to have one someday.

Think mini dealership will be you best bet. I don't think many people would lend out the pride and joy for a few hours. Don't mean that in a funny way either pal

Or you could try Hire Car companies, I'm sure there must be one in the UK that hire them.
