Hello everyone, been a member here for about two weeks, just sitting in the wings watching
... I became a proud owner of my mini on the 16 Feb 2013! We noticed my mini on a national auction site called 'Trademe', but the only problem was with the location of the car. We live in the North Waikato, which is 3/4's up the North Island and the car was located in Dunedin, near the bottom of the South Island... Approx 1500km or 935 miles away.. We looked at the cars statistics - born 2003/09, R53 Mini Cooper S, Km 65,400/40637miles, panoramic sunroof, fog lights, full leather interior, heated seats/wing mirrors (power folding),
DSC, electric blue, sports leather steering wheel, 17" S-spoke light alloy wheels with runflats, Xenon headlights ... We couldn't resist at GBP 10,150 NZ $18,500. We flew down on a connecting flight and drove through the New Zealand countryside back home... WOW what an experience... We are car fantatics I have upgraded from a 1997 VR4 Legnum, which we have owned 10/11 years... I wanted something with power as with the VR4 she was pretty grunty.. Have already played with a Holden SS and whipped it.. I so LOVE my MINI... Haha look forward to meeting you all...
