Just bought my first mini after years of wanting one - finally. I just let my heart get the better of me and I bought one... OK well after renting a brand new one for a weekend I was smitten!!
Mine is a 2005 Cooper S in Pepper White, black roof and mirrors, 5 Star alloy wheels, full leather, LSD, H&K, Xenon lights, cruise control, Chromeline exterior, side skirts, FSH and low mileage
I absolutely love it. It goes like the clappers and sticks to the road like I don't know what!!
My last car was a 206 1.4 LX, which I had for the last 6 yrs. Although nothing performance-wise compared to the
MCS, the 206 was cute and reliable - was never going to get me any
tickets though ha-ha!!
I don't really know if I will change anything on my new car. I love it the way it is, but I may change to the multi spoke alloys - although I read on here that the 5 star are lighter (does that mean faster??!!
)
Maybe try to retrofit some options like armrest, auto dimming mirror, folding mirrors? Depends on cost and how difficult it is!
I'm still undecided if I should put some bonnet stripes on... hmmm!!!
Anyway, before I ramble on for the rest of the night
