Hi all
A quick post to introduce myself - Russell Bridge, I'm an architect and live in Manchester, UK.

My new car, picked up last week is an '08 Mini Clubman D with sunroof and retro-fit lounge leather and 18" JCW alloys.
So far I love it. I've moved from an Audi A2 which was a brilliant little tardis of a car, and with a 103bhp remap on a 900kg car, pretty quick, whilst also doing 50-60mpg, so this Mini took a lot of deciding upon and finding. It was on ebay, only 7 miles from where I live, and slightly underpriced - I'd done the deal within 3hrs of the listing going up on ebay.

It currently in Mini Manchester having a few things fixed - service, 1 x drop link, a gasket (can't remember which) and a new foglight. They also advised that the ARB bushes were worn but I'll live with those for a bit. If anyone's got any advice for good non-Mini garages in Manchester that'd be most appreciated.

I'm definitely going to swap the wheels - the 18's are too hard for me. I'll be looking to swap for some black Mini 17's with non-run-flats. Please PM me if you have some you'd be interested in swapping, ideally R111 black star bullet alloys. My alloys have some scratches, but the tyres are all 6-7mm apart from one which is approx 3mm.

Photos hopefully attached.

ps This site is huge compared to the (superbly run) A2OC website, so it'll take me some time to find my way around it!
