United-Kingdom New to the game!

In the deepest darkest recesses of wales, just purchased an mcs. Only had it two weeks and already had an oxygen sensor go, the seemingly famous chewbacca clutch noise and the pas pump on its way out.

It was supposed to be a cheap second car !!!

I'm beginning to wonder if I've made a similar mistake.
Last night the PAS packed in when I pulled into the shops for 5 mins. Then started working again when I drove off.
The more I read about the Gen 1 Mini the more I fear.
Maybe I should just stop reading this forum.

Car Forums always show lots of problems because that is why most people visit and post, far fewer bother to say how reliable and wonderful there car is.
Also many R50/R53 Mini's are over 10 years old now and some repairs and replacements are inevitable due to wear and tear......or neglect by previous owners.
