New member - R53 Cooper S

Hi guys,

I've just purchased my first mini cooper S chili pack! Haven't picked it up yet but i'm excited to say the least I'm coming straight up from a 1.2 corsa sxi so it is a big jump I'm nervous in a good way haha.

I'm looking forward to using these forums and already have learnt a lot from them.

I do have a couple of questions about the car;

1. I really want pressed plates, but I know getting legal ones is a bit of a grey area, can anyone reccomend a good but legal supplier?

2. I have xenon headlamps, but my side lights are mega yellow I wanna get white LED replacements, and I've heard that the prism 501 LED's from halfords are the best replacement for non-halo fitments, is this the case? Also is the front indicator bulb in the same light as the side light? If so do you access both from behind the wheel arch?

3. I also want to get a black bonnet scoop and black petrol cap, any good mini odd bits websites or threads?

Thanks guys, and I'm sure I'll speak to some of you soon!
