Sheffield newbie

I've just taken delivery of a 2012 Mini Coupe SD and so far I've no complaints. I test drove an Audi TT, a Peugeot RCZ, a Merc SLK and contemplated both a Boxster and a Cayman but then the mini looked more fun.

The deciding factor was that I could get a full fencing bag in the boot by opening up the hatch between the boot and driving compartment. This means a lot to me as I fence 3 times a week and would have had to split my kit down to fit it all in any of the other cars.

I have a question though, when I plug my 2nd Gen iPod Touch into the usb I get the message that the cable is not compatible. Do Minis need special cables?

Welcome. Lovely car :-)

You are supposed to have the special BMW "Y" cable but I found that I could also use the apple charge/transfer cable.
