Hi,

I am a new owner of a 2007 mini cooper s and i can only say it leaves me with a smile every time i drive it

I am 21 but i am not in this for racing or rallying or doing pathetic 'mods'. Iv wanted a sporty hot hatch to keep clean and be proud of and what better than a mini.

I want to have fun and enjoy this as a hobby. I would like to get to some shows if i can this year and get the mini into top condition like it should be.

However i do have a few problems with a few things (expected from a second hand car) and as its all new territory to me i need advise.

Could anyone point me in the direction of what subject to post in:

1st my interior lights in the boot are not coming on when the boot is raised, i have tried different bulbs, however it has not resolved the issue.

2nd my cigarette socket is not working either. i am unable to charge sat-nav or phone from it. are both these issues linked or are there fuses gone or am i missing something obvious.

3rd the reading lights by the rear view mirror do not work but the 'mood lighting and interior roof light towards the back do work. Again tried bulbs but have nothing. I was wondering if these are all related to one thing but just not sure.

Sorry to waffle on in my first post.

Any help or guidance to go in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Apart from that i love the car cant wait to get it back up to original standard
