Hoping you can help

Hi,
I've just joined this forum today and I'm hoping you can all help me, you will quickly realise I am not good with cars! I have a 56plate Mini Cooper Convertible. My rear windscreen heater button is not working, I am hoping someone else has had this and you can tell me what I need to do to fix it. I phoned up a local garage and they said I need a whole new unit as I cant just get the button/fuse replaced on it's own?!
Any advice would be appreciated

Hi ya

Have you checked the fuse. the heated rear screen it's F16 it's in the foot well passenger side it should be a 30 amp. You can get replacements from halfords if you have one near you, they may even check the fuse for you if you are un shore.
Pop off the access panel and it's the third on up from the bottom (1st row) closest row to the passengers door.

Hope his helps
