New member advice needed

Hi I am just ordering my first mini. Am opting for the countryman as I have a young family.
I have decided to order visual boost, but am not sure what the difference is between visual boost and mini connect? Can anyone explain this please as I was under the impression that visual boost is mini connect?

Also as a forty something yr old woman, not sure which will look nicest, white with black roof, and black interior or red with white or black roof with lighter coloured inside roof? Want to have cool car but not look like a boy racer.

And last, but not least, what are people's opinions of the full flat leather seats over the half leather?

Awesome you got a Mini, love mine but just traded for a 2014 Countryman S All-4. Its white with black roof and mirrors.
To answer your question... Visual Boost came on Minis and is not orderable anymore (I think). Mini connect is kinda the same thing. Runs everything from Nav off your smart phone to lots of music, back up camera, stats on your car etc etc. I didn't bother cause at 43 I didn't care hehe. I do all the important stuff on my own and all Minis have onboard computers anyway. As far as colors that's up to you but keep in mind the darker the hotter in summer and more dirt shows. Don't order stripes, I hear they peel and fade on a lot of the Minis. The seats, I took what they gave and only changed the inset in the door to beige to lighten it up a bit. Also added Xenon lights for those early morning trips to Quebec. The dealer threw in all weather mats F & R. Happy Motorin
