United-Kingdom Gone and done it

Well I am the owner of 2 Classic mini`s a 1979 racing green and a 79 mini 30.

I always said I would never buy a BMW Mini

However driving by a garage the other day we spotted a 2003 BMW Mini Cooper S in Dark silver metallic and black with Chilli pack, well we stopped our car and went and had a look this led to a test drive then back to the garage for some bartering and we left the garage the proud owners of a 10 year old BMW Mini with 57,000 miles on the clock, full service history, all the past mot`s and history 12 months current mot (no advisories)

So far we love the car (runflats as well) and I guess only time will tell if we have made an expensive impulsive purchase or not.

So It`s Hi folks we are proud to be part of your community and I am sure we will have plenty of questions as time goes on .

Hi and welcome to Mini2....I'm sure you will love owning and driving your R53 MINI Cooper S.....I have owned classic Mini's for 30 years and still have one tucked up in my garage but for summer use only!

There are quite a few on most of the new and classic Mini Forums who own both these days.....once you have a nice classic you don't want to drive it every day especially in the winter or the rust starts appearing again!
