We have already shared a good amount of time together, and it seems Im replacing something every 30 days, Im new posting on mini2. I bought this vehicle from Fred Martin superstore in september of 2013. After a whopping 27 days the clutch failed and they refused to fix. Blamed it on my driving style, refused to fix. Out of pocket I went. It was b.s. But I am glad it happened, took the stock dual mass out dropped in the valeo solid mass mated with sprung loaded disc. Since I was upgrading ever so SLIGHTLY I decided to go ahead and do a alta 15% Supercharger pulley, Spectre Cai (soon switching to the JCW
) screaming demon ignition coil pack, new wires, 4 way iridium plugs, and new 380cc injectors. So much punchier and smooth. Another month passed and Someone stole my trim piece of the passenger rear in my apartment parking lot. salty. about 12 days after clutch was replaced and other mods added car started the famous yo-yo. dancing from 1500- 2300 revs, brakes were feeling really stiff as well. So me and pops Ordered a Detroit Tuned Bypass, and new diverter. Parts came in pretty quick was very satisfied. Started pulling everything apart and found some shotty work. The Inlet Tube for The eaton was actually broken and off seated 2 inches seal completey gone there were zip ties holding it up? Explains the yo-yo. so clipped the ties and removed the air horn, removed the old bypass and saw that the vacuum tube for brakes was pulled out of the inlet tube. FANTASTIC. Lucky me my uncle makes custom polished aluminum, billet chrome parts, got him working on fabricating my new inlet tube currently. For now shes over at Bmw, getting stock inlet tube replaced, and fuel factor reset. Lets hope I make it farther than another month before next series of replacements.
