United-States Parents of a 2014 Volcanic Orange Mini HT

We ordered our 2014 Mini HT on May 14, 2014, and it's scheduled for production today May 19. Would like to know the average delivery times of these new 2014 to the west coast.

We live in CA, and we're looking forward to not spending so much on gas, to have fun taking trips, and to be part of the unique Cooper family of owners. This is our first NEW car, which makes it even more exciting.

We bought the Volcanic Orange, which really is the same color as the yellow lines on the road...won't be able to miss this small car in traffic! We got it with the white top, so it would be cooler in the CA sun.

What is the response of the "non-S" owners of the 2014? Can't believe 3 cyl can have so much pep.

Ive yet to see a new MINI on the road here yet in the UK, they arent that common.
Quite a few cars now have a missing cylinder, we will be back to the old 2 cylinder 2 stroke soon.

Minimum of 5 weeks from when it's released for distribution.

I ordered my new Mini at the end of April and I've been told to expect delivery Mid July & I'm in the UK! 5 days between ordering and production seems very quick. Mini in the UK are claiming that there's a huge order backlog.
