Newbie ~ help with arb question

Apologies I am probably doing this wrong !

I have used the site a lot and have always found answers without having to pits anything.

Anyway here goes, I have a clunking coming from rear suspension over rough road surfaces, more noticeable at lower speed but that may be just down to reduced road noise. My research points towards the ARB Bushes. I thought it was worth a try looked a simple fix. I popped down to my dealer and ordered a couple for my 2010 R56 Cooper S, great only 9.50, I was expecting the usual 25 plus. Given they were so cheap I asked how much to fit and was advised 295 !!! The dealership advised that the cost was down to requiring to do a rear wheel alinement which was necessary when changing these bushes. All the guidance online simply talks about jacking up the rear of the car, undoing a bracket held on with a couple of bolts and slipping on the new bushes.
Can anyone advise, is my dealer having a laugh or is the advice out there about doing this job seriously flawed?

Hi ya

The dealer is talking total BS
The car will not need a 4 wheel alignment as the anti roll bar has nothing to do with alignment and the price is way out its max one hour of billable work.

Follow the youtube vid, it is very easy DIY job it will take you longer to jack the car up and get the wheels off and back on than do the bushes.

Just get both rear wheels up of the floor give the bolts a squirt of plusgas

Hope this helps
