Flat load floor

I have just bought a 6 months old Cooper Clubman but the flat load floor in the boot wasn't included. Is there any way of tracking one down other than through searching the internet which I have been doing for 48 hours to no avail? I didn't notice it was missing till I had taken delivery. It's only 6 Months old but the seller says he has no way of tracking previous owner to inquire about this and I am left high and dry. It was sold 'as new condition' and is in mint order so I believe I have the right to ask for compensation over this. What is your advice? Thanks.

Hi and welcome

If it's part of the mini standard build you should go back to where you bought it from see the guy you got it from and say it's missing,

Is it this

RealOEM.com * BMW R55N Cooper Retrofit, form-fitting trunk mat

Or

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...36&hg=51&fg=65

If not post a pic and we can see what's missing hope this helps

If you have a Clubman, the floor panel (item 1 below) is about 82 from a dealer.

But the phrase "flat load floor" makes it sound like you have a Countryman, not a Clubman.

If so, the car needs to have been equipped originally with the flat load floor option, as that has different mouldings around the side of the compartment that hold up the flat load floor. Adding those mouldings and buying the flat load panel is possible, but expensive. If the car was optioned with the flat load floor and just the panel is missing, that can be bought at a dealers for about 150.
