Hi simply love driving my mini cooper and looks the business with the chequered roof and double lines on the bonnet. Great fun and hoping get some advice on a minor niggle as follows:
Can anyone help with a bit of advice please. I have a 2003 Mini Cooper 1.6 petrol which looks and drives fab except for one issue. Oddly the car judders when driving in 3rd gear between certain speeds/revs this is quite a small window when it happens and it is not there as you accelerate up to where it kicks in and you can accelerate past it. Obviously there are times where it is not possible to accelerate past it. It is fine in every other gear and even in third above or below the revs/speed it kicks in. I have changed plugs but made no difference. Looked online and cannot find any mention of it except juddering pulling off due ot clutch issues. I have no problem at all when pulling off. Anyone else had a problem like this? There is no EMU light issues and reluctant to pay dealer a fortune to "see if they can find it" . Hope someone out there can help Cheers Steve
