Cool site

Hey My name is ray and I just got my first Mini, 2005 S. 6 spd British racing Green. Very excited. Was surprised there is no spare.

Its probably got run flat tyres fitted, hence no spare is provided, or if it has normal tyres it might have an inflation kit in terms of a gunk like substance to pump into the tyre to reseal the puncture to get you home?
They dont like to fit spares as it takes up boot space and adds weight to the car.

It had run flats but someone put Michelin defenders on the little guy. I am considering a tire plug and compressor kit.

The spare is mounted under the boot on Cooper models. This can't be done with Cooper S models as the battery box is in the way.
