New to the Mini life!

Hey,

I've just got my brand new Mini Cooper D last monday. Only had it a week and a half and I already love it! Only issue is that I can't find a rear mounted bike carrier. It's a company car so I had no choice to add the roof rails for a roof mounted carrier. Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

eBay is a good starting point

Try item number 290980810875

Good luck!

Paul.

Cheers

Thanks for that! Will they work? I was told at Halfords all their rear mounted ones would damage the rear lip spoiler?

Google for "youtube fitting bike rack to mini" and you'll see a good video of it being done.

Whatever you will end up marking the paintwork after a few uses anyway, but I guess if its company car you dont bother about that.
I bought a folding mountain bike for my MINI and that goes in the back and you can still open the hatch and its safer, doesnt get all the filth on the bike in bad weather and its more anti theft proof.
Plus you will need a trailer board type of thing too so you dont obscure the rear lights and number plate when the bikes are on, loads of hassle.
Which is why I never even considered one.
