Canada Help! I love my mini but it's all really new to me.

Hi!

So, I finally got a Mini Cooper and it's not new by any means but it's new to me. I had it mechanically inspected and they said everything was good. But I have noticed that my RPM will fly up to 4 when I braking around 100? To slow down. I don't know if I am crazy and this is normal or not it is just a lot different than my old car and I am worried something is wrong. I have noticed that the RPMs are much jumpier than my old car and I am just curious if that's normal.

Thank you in advance if you can give me a little clarification!

don't really know what you mean ? do you mean 4000 rpm and braking from 100 mph ?

Canada uses kilometres so braking from 100 isn't unusual.
