New member introduction

Hi
Just swapped my beloved Alfa spider and my wife's boring Scenic for a 52 R50 Cooper with. Chilli pack in BRG.

Lovely little car and sorting a few issues out. Rear washer and cigar lighter didn't work (both fixed) now need to sort the auto air con, boot lamp and dash rattles.

Anyone know where the boot lamp switch is?? Someone has fitted a manual press switch to switch the light on when required and I would like to put it back to auto so that we don't leave it on by mistake.

Not 100% on this but the interior light works off the door lock mechanism so I presume the boot one will work off the boot lock mechanism

Just discovered that there is no switch! It comes on with the interior light when the door or the tailgate are opened. The switch which a previous keeper has fitted just switches the light in the boot off - presumably if the boot is kept open whilst loading countless bags of shopping!!!! Ok 2 bags.
