Hubcaps on new model

Someone at work bought in the new Car magazine today, and there is a page with a pic of the traveller concept. They have a bit on the left titled 'the mini's packed with neat touches. One is the aluminium 'eyelids' on the headlights, another is the air vent cupholders, but the other one is:

Custom alloys - change your wheels to match your mood with these clip on trims.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a hubcap? Just an expensive one that fits over an alloy wheel? Hardly a new design feature!
