Noticed that my steering wheel shakes at speeds above 40mph - not drastically, just about 1cm side to side - would this be a tracking/alignment issue? Don't know the difference between the two so any help would be much appreciated. Could it be because I hit a kerb last week?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have centering rings on your new aftermarket wheels? The centerbore on aftermarket wheels is often larger than the 56.1mm centerbore of OEM wheels.
a high speed balancing will cure did 'shaking' on my car. Normal balancing is great when doing less than 100kph. Lastly about 10, 000 kph tires need to be rotate for even waer and tear ,that is the two front tires will go to the rear and two rear to the front. Take note , if u rotate rear tires to the front, it need to re-balance for high speed again. It works on mine car.
Would these be them? I was wondering what these were, thought they had something to do with the centre caps It also has the following numbers 63.3 - 56.1

I'm guessing (not too hard) that these are the centering rings - now, is it essential that I put them on straight way or can they wait a couple of days? Also, would I have done any damage to my wheels or the wheel mounts?
Thanks
