Rough sounding brakes

Over the past few days my brakes are sound really rough when applying the brakes at very slow speed or when coming to a halt - is this normal? I've always felt my brakes were a bit on the ****e side, rear caliper was sticking (dealer sorted it, but now occasionally it reoccurs), felt a bit notchy a couple of times but hasn't happened again. Could it be poor pads? The car is only 2 months old and has covered less than 1700 miles of pretty average driving.

the noise actually gets worse the more I drive
took it to my loacal dealer, service guy came with me for a drive, noticed the noise, checked the brakes with a torch (was dark) and said all was fine but may need some adjusting saying something about handbrake being linked to calipers?

Your brake pads are trash (probably the rears) and that sound you are hearing is the sound of $$$$ flying out of your pocket as you are grinding away at your discs......GO TO dealer or brake place , do not collect $200
