What tyres do you have on your 18inch Wheels??

Hi

I seriously thinking of getting r105's but i dont want run flats. I am happy with the eagle f1's that i have at the moment but they dont make them in 205/40/18. They dont even do a 215/40.
So i was wondering what other tyres come in 205/40/18??

Thanks
Fabio

Your 40 aspect will give you a bigger diameter wheel/tire combination which will make you lose acceleration. On the other hand, you'll gain a tad in fuel economy and theoretical top end speed.
Moi, I use Kuhmo ECSTAS 215/35/18

Very few tires available in 205/40-18:
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Toyo Proxes 4
The Michelins are a summer tire and the Toyos an all-season tire.

Because the only suitable size in which a runflat is available for the MINI is 205/40-18.

Err, 215/40 would be massive!

Has anyone run 225/35's yet??

The standard is pretty much 215/35.

I'm running Hankook K-102 215-35-18

Haven't try them on the road yet, but only heard great comments about those

Next summer, I'll get Vredestein Ultrac for sure!
