Offline | I've got the incredibly fast wearing Toyo T1R on my S Spokes. I'm buying new wheels at the end of the month and will be going back to Runflats again. I'll be interested to see what going back to runflats will be like. Quite looking forward to going back to the extra piece of mind to be honest. |

Offline | Both MINIs that I have owned ended up with non-RF tyres. With the current one, I had the dealer change them at pre-delivery. The current tyre specs are 215/40-17 in a Toyo Tranpath SW. Ditch the RFs ![]() |

Offline | Still have the runflats and stock webspokes, but am running Falken 512's (195/60/15) on 6.5 wide Chinese alloys that weigh less than 14 lbs. Probably will not go back, love the ride and easy steering of the non runflats. And the price of the tires. ![]() |

Offline | Replaced the Pirelli's a month ago with Dunlop Sport Maxx 215/40 on my S-spokes. MUCH more grip on damp roads. It sounds strange, but I find that the Dunlops hold their shape better in sharp and fast corners, I feel and hear less tire deformation. Could be also due to the fact that they are slightly lower than the original 205/45 Pirelli's. But I also got Eibach with 12mm spacers at the same time. I have much less road noise in the car, and I don't feel every little crack in the road anyymore, altough the suspension has gotten a little stiffer with the Eibachs. EB/W R53 MCS Highly Modified |
