Flat tyre warning light ? Had a flat tyre the other day - right front. The warning light never came on; let me drive several miles before I figured out what that noise was (don't laugh!) Drove around on the mini-spare for almost a week while awaiting special -order tyres (non-runflat, regular 15") and the warning light never "noticed" the smaller wheel - I thought it was supposed to compare wheel speeds to detect tyre problems. Finally got two new tyres today (other one was getting thin) and on the way home, the silly light comes on as if I had a flat! Re-set the light and all seems well, but...... Anybody know what's going on? This system seems worse than useless, ignoring obvious problems & "crying wolf" in normal conditions. Thanks, -Oly |
